For more than 70 years our beekeeping has existed in Rosall, a small village in the county
of Tischenreuth in the north of the Oberpfalz. The presence of bees on the farm is due
more to a case. In the year 1940, on the day of the confirmation of my grandfather Johann Müller, a swarm of bees came from the sky and he caught it. On that day his interest in bees was born and gradually a beekeeping developed over the next few years.
Our history

At the age of 32 he married my grandmother Irmtraud. The couple went to live on the current farm, which my grandmother had inherited. Together my grandparents ran a small farm and beekeeping. My grandfather brought with time the number of hives to 80. Unfortunately, his sons Hubert and Johann did not share the passion for bees.

When my parents Hubert and Brigitte Müller took over the farm, they took care of dairy cows and farmland, while my grandfather continued to take care of the bees.To his great pleasure, he discovered that I, his nephew, watched the events at the beehives with great interest. I made my first experiences with beesalready at the age of 2, when, with a branch, I rummaged in a beehive, attracting the wrath of the bees. Despite the many bites, I soon helped my grandfather with zeal and enthusiasm. I liked the work with bees more and more and my grandfather was very grateful for the help.
At the age of 15 I went to the Königsee in the Berchtesgadener Land, where I completed my education as a fish farmer. At that time I did not lose my love for beekeeping, so that after a couple of years I returned to my parents‘ farm. After the death of my grandfather in 2007 I took over his hives, and I began to modernize and expand his beekeeping.
